Call for Submissions

Are you doing something cool for the planet – reducing, reusing, recycling, upcycling? Do you have planet-friendly budgeting tips and tricks to share with folks who are just starting out in life, or who are restarting their lives?

If you want to write about living smaller (and I am sure there are aspects I haven’t covered above) you can either submit an article – 500 to 2,000 words, or send a query to me at TZOLivingsmaller@gmail.com — please put TZOLS Call for Submissions in the subject line. Articles should be in an attached Word document, not in the body of the email.

Accepted items will be provided a byline (and if you have a photo and max 200 word bio and links to your website/blog). I am looking for good journalism (answering: Who, What, When, Where, and How) in a succinct and easy to read style.

Previously printed articles are okay as long as you hold the copyright (and state as much in your submission).

Allow 10 business days for an answer (I am usually faster than that, but you never know what might come up). No pay for articles (yet).

If you aren’t interested in writing, but would like to be interviewed about your business, or craft – again, please send me an email at Natalia@serroc.com and put Interview Me TZOLS in the subject line; and tell me a little about what you are doing and why it is good for the planet or for the people/animals/plants that live here. Also let me know if you can do a phone or zoom interview and best dates/times (and what time zone you are in).

Allow 10 business days for an answer (I am usually faster than that, but you never know what might come up). If accepted, I will need a photo of you or your business/crafts and your short (maximum 200 words) bio; and links to your website/blog – or where your products can be purchased.
