If you are reading this, thank you! I am a sixty-something woman, with a hubby, a dog, and variety of wild critters I regularly feed and talk to. We are heading into the days where the concept of retiring is no longer “sometime in the future” but right around the corner. I’ve lived through hard times (losing all my belongings twice and starting from scratch; living in a car for a few months with two dogs; nothing so terrible that I didn’t bounce back – but just terrible enough to really make me appreciate what I have).
We all have too much “stuff” – myself included…and I am trying to divest myself of so much material stuff. In the process, I am finding so many wonderful things that add quality, and use less (less money, less space, less energy, just less). And I am trying to find a purpose that fuels my passions, instead of deadening my drive.
As well as working on this blog – I am writing a lot these days (another passion) – you can see my writing efforts at Wind in Her Mane; also NataliaCorres.com; and you can find my author page on Goodreads by clicking here and on Amazon is at: amazon.com/author/nataliacorres.
You can contact me at: Natalia@serroc.com
Cheers – and remember to reuse, repurpose and recycle.
Live long, and Prosper ~ (yes, I am one of THOSE trekkers).

Been shedding ‘stuff’ all my life and have found that more stuff always showed up. No longer having a pickup truck has really changed the flow of it in though. Nice essay. Thank you. All my best to you.

Thanks! I agree, stuff seems to accumulate whether you try or not (especially if there is shelf space or a bit of room in a closet). 🙂
